JUBAL BROWN (b 1975) is a producer and presenter of contemporary art & events culture based in Toronto Canada. An Audio/Visual (A/V) video-maker of over 50 short works screened or performed in Toronto, Paris, London, New York... and a writer.
Co-creator of the ART SYSTEM Cultural Center in Toronto; multimedia label FAMEFAME; programmer of Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (MOCA)'s A/V event series VIDEODROME and the purveyor of various unmentionable irreverent actions.
Brown’s work is consistently challenging and playful, anarchic with a pointed sense of humor, he is possessed by a tragic and beautiful idealism. Canadian Art Magazine dubbed Brown "The dark prince of Toronto art".
